Privacy policy

This page explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to exercise your rights. Last updated: October 20, 2026.

Who we are

Déneigement Montréal Express (and Déneigeur Montréal 24/7) is operated by a sole proprietorship located at 3475 rue Saint-Urbain, Montréal, Québec H2X 2N4. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the owner of the business: info@deneigementmontreal.com, 438-815-6607.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email, the address of the property to be cleared and the details of your request; the messages we exchange (emails, texts, calls); photos of the site taken by our crew before and after a visit; payment information, processed by our payment provider (we do not keep your card number). We may record and transcribe calls so that nothing agreed is forgotten and to improve our service.

Why we use it

To answer your request and prepare a quote, provide the snow removal service, send you service notices, invoice you and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

Text messages (SMS)

By requesting a quote or signing a contract, you agree to receive texts from us about your request and your service. If you become a customer, these texts are Trace service notices: "crew on the way" (with the estimated arrival time), "service completed" (with a link to the before and after photos) and "access blocked" (with a photo and the reason). These are service messages, not advertising.

You can opt out by replying STOP to any text, or by writing or calling us. Reply HELP or call 438-815-6607 for help. Message and data rates from your mobile plan may apply. A customer can also add or remove the numbers that receive the notices for their site; an added number must first be confirmed with a code sent by text.

Who we share it with

Only the technical providers we need to run the service: text messaging and telephony, email, hosting and database, payment, and call transcription and photo checks. They may only use your information to provide those services to us. Some of these providers are located or store data outside Québec, including in Canada and the United States. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Visit photos are kept for 90 days; the visit log stays on your Trace page for the season. Customer files, quotes, invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws, then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent (for example to texts) and, subject to our legal obligations, to have it deleted. Write to info@deneigementmontreal.com; we answer within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

This policy is provided for information only and is not legal advice. We may update it; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
